Run by students
Three students from this campus.
We founded the KI-Klub and study Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Campus Gummersbach. We want to create a place where you can try out AI, ask questions and work on your own ideas.
Good to know
You need neither prior knowledge nor a project of your own.
English speakers are welcome. The meetings are held in German, but you can ask in English and we will help you in English.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. You can come without any programming skills and start with your questions.
Do I need an AI subscription?
Not to drop by, listen and join the conversation. If you actively build on a project, you need your own paid subscription with an AI model provider and an AI tool that works locally on your device and can work with GitHub.
What should I bring?
Your own device, if you want to build something. At the start, the club provides no computers and no licences. To get to know us, you can also come without a device.
Do I have to come every week?
No. There is no attendance requirement, no exam and there are no credits. You can join at any time, even after the first meeting.
